Eligibility Criteria for IIT Bombay Monash Research Academy PhD Scholarships 2020
|
Any of the following may be satisfied
|
First class Masters’ degree from a reputed university
|
|
Bachelors’ degree in Engineering/Science with a high GCPA
|
|
Although not a prerequisite, candidates who have been highly placed in GATE, GRE, CSIR-NET, JAM or any other competitive exam and who have industry experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
|
|
|
Scholarship Benefits
|
The selected scholars will receive the following benefits
|
|
i.
|
INR 3,72,000 per annum for the first 2 years
|
|
ii.
|
INR 4,20,000 per annum after the first 2 years
|
|
iii.
|
A scholarship grant of up to AUD 25,850 per annum in Australia
|
|
iv.
|
Minimum 1 year in Australia working with a Monash University co-supervisor (some projects may require the applicant to be in Australia for a longer period of time or undertake more than one trip).

|
Waiver of tuition fees at the Monash University, Australia
|
|

|
The scholarship amount represented above is tentative and might change on the basis of various factors.

Shortlisting of applicants through the Expression of Interest submitted by them
|

ii.

Shortlisting of applicants through the FORM A duly filled and submitted by them
|
|
iii.
|
Personal interview for the further final selection of students

Fill the Expression of Interest (EOI) form for IIT-B Monash PhD Program for June 2020 intake. To apply to the Academy visit www.iitbmonash.org and fill in the online EOI form.

Please click on https://emuapps.monash.edu.au to fill in the Expression of Interest (EOI) Form. If your EOI form is found to be suitable, you will receive an email indicating you are able to proceed to Step 2 of the application stage.
