ISRO recruitment 2020 will be conducted for 55 fresh vacancies for engineers and technicians at the Space Applications Centre (SAC)

ISRO recruitment 2020 will soon be conducted at the Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad, which is a premier Indian Space Research and Organisation’s Centre. There are a total of 55 vacancies available for which engineers, postgraduates and technicians can apply. The vacancies available are that of Scientist/Engineer, Technical Assistant, and Technician B for which candidates need to apply online. Selected candidates will be eligible for a salary of up to Rs 2,08,700 based on their qualifications and the post for which they are selected.

Who can Apply for ISRO Recruitment 2020?

As mentioned before, there are a total of 55 vacancies of which 21 are Scientist/Engineer vacancies, 6 are Technical Assistant vacancies, and 28 are Technician B vacancies, according to the official notification issued on the SAC website.

For the 21 Scientist/Engineer vacancies candidates with a first class degree along with the following qualifications can apply: Phd in fields related to Electronics, MSc in Physics, ME or MTech in Computer Science and related fields, ME or MTech in Electronics and related fields, ME or MTech in Mechanical Engineering and related fields, ME or MTech in Structural Engineering and ME or MTech in Electrical Engineering. Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs 56,100 up to 2,08,700 based on the post, candidate’s experience and qualification.

For the 6 Technical Assistant vacancies, candidates with a first-class diploma in engineering from a recognized Institution, Board n or University in the following streams can apply: Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Selected candidates will be eligible for a salary of Rs 44,900 to 1,42,400.

For the 28 Technician B vacancies, candidates with a Matric (SSC / SSLC / 10th Class) as well as ITI, NTC or NAC in the following trades can apply: Fitter (6 vacancies), Machinist (3 vacancies), Electronics (10 vacancies), Information Technology (2 Vacancies), Plumber (1 vacancy), Carpenter (1 vacancy), Electrician (1 vacancy), Mechanical (3 vacancies), and Chemical (1 vacancy). Selected candidates will be eligible for a salary of Rs 21,700 to 69,100).

How to Apply for ISRO Recruitment 2020?

All applications will be received online only on the official SAC website before 3 April 2020 5 pm IST. Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the written test, which will be conducted at SAC. The written test will be conducted in such a way that theoretical and practical knowledge of the candidate is tested covering both the breadth and depth of the prescribed curriculum, says the notification.
