About Scholarships Programs:Dr.TMA Pai PhD Scholarship Program:Above all candidates who qualify the Manipal Academy of Higher Education Eligibility Test for PhD programme. These candidates are eligible for grant in aid instituted by MAHE under the Dr TMA Pai Scholarship Scheme. A total of 200 fellowships would be awarded twice a year for eligible candidates and would be called the Dr TMA Pai fellows. Call for submitting application for Dr TMA Pai Scholarship would be made in leading newspapers and MAHE website. There would be two calls annually, one in February and the second in August. Selection of shortlisted candidates would be finalized through written test and interview. |

| About Duration – Six months probationary period + 3 years |
| Eligibility – A candidate seeking admission to the PhD. program must have an aggregate of 60% or an equivalent grade in any of the following: |

* Postgraduate degree or equivalent from universities/institutions recognized by UGC * Postgraduate degree in Medical Sciences, Dental Sciences or Engineering * MBBS or BDS or an undergraduate degree which is of at least 5 years’ duration * Pharm. D. / Pharm. D. (Post Baccalaureate) |
| Also Admissions – Admissions will be based on marks obtained in the All India online test for PhD. The toppers will be called for interview/presentation at the respective institutions for final selection. |
